Kimberly Campbell - Foss Wellness Center Assistant Director
Kimberly (Williams) Campbell completed graduate studies Oklahoma City University's Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Arts Management Master of Fine Arts program; She also obtained a Bachelors of Arts in dance degree from Lindenwood University. Ms. Williams' extensive training includes ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and musical theatre. She is a sought after judge for competitions and auditions, as well as for choreographing and cleaning routines in the studio and dance team worlds.
Ms. Williams' involvement with dance team began as a freshman in high school and continued through her senior year of college. Upon graduating from high school, she became an instructor and later assistant head instructor for Universal Dance Association traveling and teaching high school dance camps across Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
As a member of the Lindenwood Lion Line Dance Team, Ms. Williams performed at numerous basketball, football, wrestling, and community events. She competed all four years at the National College Dance Team Championships televised on ESPN and ESPN2. The highlight over those four years was winning the first National Championship Title.
She coached the Ritenour High School junior varsity dance team for three years ending her tenure with the teams' first, first-place finish at the Missouri State High School Dance Competition.
Some of Ms. Williams' awards include a scholarship to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles, two Dance in K.C. scholarships, Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Costuming judges' specialty awards at the Missouri State Dance Team Competition along with several judges' specialty awards earned as a soloist. She competed regionally and nationally at Dance Champs, Spotlight Dance Cup, Stage One Productions, Showbiz, West Coast Dance Explosion, Tremaine, and Applause Talent Competition.
